SSI's hometown of Portland, Oregon USA is one of the most bike friendly cities in the world.
Portland recently topped Popular Science's list of the Greenest Cities in the United States. A big part of that is bikes. Portland is widely considered the most bicycle-friendly city in North America, and worldwide, it's seen as only second to Amsterdam.
With such high usage of bikes in Portland, too many old bikes end up in area landfills. This month's Shred of the Month video isn't meant to offend cyclists, it's intended to encourage recycling of anything that contains reusable material-even bicycles.
