「ラガーワイヤー」とは？

「パルパーテール」とも呼ばれるラガーワイヤーは、梱包された使用済み紙廃棄物に含まれるプラスチック製のトリミング、ステープル、テープ、ラベル、ベーリングワイヤーで構成されています。約 45% が鉄鋼、55% が使用済み廃棄物で構成されており、パルパーから取り除く必要があります。パルプ化プロセス中、廃棄物は巻き付いて尾のような鎖状になり、圧縮率が高く細断が非常に困難になります。長年、このぼろぼろになったワイヤー廃棄物は埋め立て地に送られていました。SSIの専用ラガーワイヤーリサイクルシステムにより、この丈夫な素材をリサイクルして再利用できるようになりました。
